Our PVC newel posts are built here in our Long Island factory to fit your needs. Simply supply us with your required dimensions and style and we will make them up. Versatex PVC newel posts are a great way to ensure your railings will look new for years to come. Being that they are made out of pvc they are just decorative, you will still need to supply a structural post inside. They can also be used for commercial applications also. We can make flat panel pvc newel posts, recessed panel pvc newel posts, raised panel pvc newel posts, recessed panel pvc newel posts with applied moldings and chamfered pvc newel posts.

Builder Series vs. Architect Series

Our Builder Series Versatex pvc newel posts are made using 1/2″ thick pvc and our Architect Series are made using 3/4″ pvc. Our Versatex PVC newel posts are made right here at our factory on Long Island in a quality controlled environment.

The Builder Series uses 1/2″ thick PVC — cost-effective and structurally sound across all panel styles. The Architect Series uses 3/4″ PVC, built to tighter tolerances with more refined detailing for high-end residential and estate projects.

Do your PVC newel posts require a structural post inside?

Yes — PVC newel posts are decorative, so a structural wood or steel post inside is required for load-bearing applications like deck stairs and railings. We can size the interior cavity to fit your structural requirements.

What panel styles are available?

We offer flat panel, recessed panel, raised panel, recessed with applied moldings, and chamfered panel styles. Custom profiles are also available — send us your drawings and we’ll work from them.

How are the newel posts delivered, and what areas do you serve?
